At the villages Tylisos, Gonies, Kamariotis, Marathos and Damasta there are a number of traditional tavernas that serve traditional Cretan dishes throughout the year. All taverns are found within the villages. There is also a pizzeria at the village Tylisos.

At the same, usually at the village squares, the visitor can find the traditional coffee houses which in Greece are called ‘Kafeneion’ and where the latter can enjoy a traditional Greek. In Tylisos one can also find a number of mini-markets, bakeries etc.
